So tomorrow i could be the proud owner of a 03 Redfire Cobra.

its going for 22k and has roughly 50k on the clock, original owner, mid 40's male looking to get rid of his midlife crisis vehicle with a beamer.

it has a 2.93" pulley, and comes with 2 other sized pulleys as well as the stocker.

it has a diablo chip and has been dynotuned with the 2.93" pulley but i guess their machine was not reading power, so they were just using the sniffer to get his fuel trims down. he has a dyno sheet of it with the next lower pulley(3.05" i think) and it did 423hp/440tq on a mustang dyno if i remember.

it has some sort of upgraded heat exchanger(does not say cobra), billetflow throttle body, and some sort of MSD ignition setup. bassani catted x-pipe and catback system and steeda intake. stock polished(not chrome) rims wrapped in nitto 555's.

i have never driven a car that i had to let off due to scaring the **** out of me before. i got on it in 2nd gear and stopped at around 80 because i realized i still hadnt shifted out of 2nd, and i was only at around 5Krpm. i didnt even go for 3rd after that, i just realized this car is insanely stupid fast and the area i was in would not be a wise decision for that kind of law-breaking.

exterior is in great shape, just needs a good ziano waxing. interior is flawless. he has some upgraded speakers/amp combo and a panasonic deck and it sounds insane and i dont think it needs any subs as the bass was just about perfect. maybe a 10" to help but i dont even know about that.

so ill be selling Project Eleanor once the deal for the cobra is finalized. its gonna be sad to see her go, but i know the next owner will love the car just as much as i do. its just time to move on to something more grown up with greater potential for performance sake.

i cant wait though. i went to the track saturday night and guys were running consistent mid 11's with 2.75" pulleys and ported blowers, i know this cobra wont be as fast but god damn, its nice to know the potential is there, i just need to unleash it.

Good luck with the new purchase and be sure to hit us up if you have any specific questions about the car. You can get a head start by reading this 03/04 Cobra FAQ:
