First, wohooo, on getting my car back from the body shop. I have to say, I was scared, but honestly, I think its better than before it went it. They did a good job. While it was in, I had them re spray all the body parts that had flaws on it since the body kit was going to be off it anyway. So I get it back this morning after one month. Not even 15 minutes later, get off the hwy to my exit, and a little dip in the road, SCRAPE! There goes the fuggin front bumper, all scratched up again on the bottom. *&^%$#$%^&**&^^%^^&*&**!!!!!! Why couldnt it even last at least a day while it was all perfect. Fuggin murphys law, always screwin me. So now, since my car is white, the scratches stand out more. There is black looking scratches in the paint. What can I do to get that out. Do I use a buffer, wet sand, or what? I am going to go to autozone and get a bottle of oxford white touch up paint. But how do I prep it so at least to get off those black marks so at least you wont see it looking at it unless you actually touched it. ARGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!
Ok first off wow that sucks my luck isn't even that bad and damn... wow.. that just sucks i'm sorry to hear that. Anyways try using some 3M RUBBING COMPOUND, and if that doesn't work hit it with a buffing wheel. And use that oxford white touch up paint. To prep it just tape off the area that your going to paint clean the area with some bug and tar remover, and then paint away. I would recommend trying the 3M before painting and if you have to paint use it again after the bug remover. I used to work on Winston Cup cars and was in a pit crew, I also detailed them. If this doesn't work, like I said just paint it... I'm sorry to hear this man that sucks
