    Oh, the memories...

Glad I didn't have to put quarters and aprons in mine.

Nice car, a little overrestored, but very nice.

I'd say don't hold your breath on that one. People have a hard time respecting them. But I've given up arguing it.

I still want to know how his car is that light.

Yeah...down about 60hp and 100ft/lb from my 351W car, but running 4mph faster in the 1/4.

It's a LOT nicer finished car though.

I think Dano meant Impala/CobraIILover, not Sleeper.

I don't know the guy, but I give him a big :nice: .

While the car isn't OEM, he did keep the general factory look of the car, and I like that a lot. His restoration is amazing. I don't think it's overdone, I just think he wanted it done RIGHT and that is how he did it. I would LOVE to restore my 76 to the magnitute of his car, but it will never happen.

Yep.. That's what I meant.

That's what you get when you've had a few too many and the mind tries to function...

    Classic guy here!

Thats a nice looking II there! Even though they dont get the attention they deserve, i do a double take when i see a nice II. And ive yet to see a Cobra II in real life. Hoping to see one this summer during show season! Keep up the good restorations, im sure its very difficult to get parts for them.

    :flag:

P.S. GT-500s are over-rated. Everyone knows GT-350s are the way to go! :D
