    Hello everybody,
I'm helping a very good friend (a mustang owner and lover) who is going to travel the old mother route 66 from Chicago to LA.
Here fron Europe we can not find any car rental company who can help with the rental of Mustang between the 1st may up to the 20th (05/01/2008-05/20/2008).
Do you've an idea for the dream trip of his live ?
    Best regards.
    Antoine
PS : I don't know if I'm at the right place but maybe you can also help with that and by the way he's the owner of a beautifull mustang fastback 1967 ;)

If Hertz doesn't have one you might be out of luck. They're the only rental company I know of that rents out Mustangs.

Check with Enterprise, I know they have some Mustangs in the Kansas City and Oklahoma City areas.

    http://www.enterprise.com/car_rental/home.do

Also you might try contacting some of the Ford Dealerships in the area to see if they would arrange for you to drive a "Dealer Transfer". A lot of dealrships will rent cars, but they usually want them returned, but might be worth a try.

Also, contact some of the regional and local Mustang Clubs along the route, might be worth a few free beers.
