This may be a stupid question that I could figure out myself but I'm busy at work and can't go look at the car right now. On my 99 SVT Cobra do I have a hydraulic or mechanical clutch?

I'm about to pick up a new clutch before I take my car to the shop. The mechanic suggested an SVL Clutch and said "if" its mechanical I will also need to get a clutch quadrant.

I dont claim to be a mechanic so I wanted to see what anyone else thinks about that before buying the parts and taking my car to him. Thanks ahead of time!

All cobras have a mechanical clutch. I personally don't think that you need to replace your quadrant unless you want to change where the clutch engages, at that time you will need a firewall adjuster also, or plan on running a really heavy clutch like a spec stage 3.
I still run the stock quadrant and cable setup in my 96 with zero problems.
