I installed the diablo Predator chip this morning and wow:jaw:

    Worth the money for sure.

The stock tune seem very restrictive compared to the Performance tune once I installed it. Plus I can here my intake a lot more:flag:

One more mod on the cobra and a lot more to go... hahaha

    I don't know?

    Maybe somebody can tell us????

I'm thinking 12 rwhp or something around that area. After driving the tune for a day I realized I need to do some suspension upgrades soon. Haha

Someday I will. That's what my project goal is, but I plan on getting the cobra ready for it first. I'm talking about Suspension work because after I put the tune on I was spinning the tires more.

The diablo will be get to reset the speedo for 4.10's though:nice:

You just need to learn how to drive your cobra with the tune:lol: The 4.10's is not going to help if you spin the tires:p

Gears are a must for a first mod along with a shifter. You just have to learn to drive better. Even with suspension you can still spin the tires with those gears.

I agree with you, but that stock IRS of mine also hops bad under hard lanuches. I have a feeling that if I put 4.10's in and go to the track I'll bust my 28 spline axles through wheel hope off the line:nonono:

Anyone see the Horse Power TV show on Saturday? I know it was an 03 Cobra, but DAMN! With no,0,nada, not a single other mod a Hypertech with no provisions for custom tuning gave the car 43 rwhp!!! After that they swaped to a 3" pullie and only gained another 6hp and then anothe 12hp when they put on the 2.98 or 2.93  I forgot which. Sorry a little off topoic but that is an unbelievable gain for JUST a tune with all factory hardware:nice:

Yeah I know and we install a CAI, it's good for 5-8hp on our n/a cars while the terminators gain around 25+hp. I swear, I'm going to get my hands on one later on:D They respond so well to simple mods. I'm jealous.

The guy who installed my gears just got a 03 cobra and installing his whipple this weekend. He's going to be in the 10's for sure. He's looking to swap his IRS for a solid axle because the wheel hop sucks from the IRS.

I had 4.10's in my 99 cobra. You just have to learn how to control it. An IRS brace and better bushings help.

Dude, PM me if he wants to! I have a solid 8.8 with fresh Trac-Loc and 3.73s and new seals. I would drive mine to him and pick his up.

Sorry mods: if this violates please just erase instead of locking Thanks :nice:
