I got a letter from a branch off a main dealership about a "private sale". They said: "We are in desperate need to acquire several pre-owned 1976 Ford Mustangs before November 30, 2004 in order to fulfill special used vehicle requests. Our records indicate you own one of these vehicles and our new car managers have been authorized to buy back your current vehicle. We would like to exchange your 1976 Ford Mustang for any new quality pre-owned or new 2004 and 2005 Ford car, truck, van, or sport utility vehicle." Too bad I don't have a 76 Mustang.
That is VERY ODD! I would give them a call and say no thanks, I'd rather have my II AND a new ford then just a new ford and no II. =)
It's just a sales ploy. They have the records that say you're a Mustang owner and they are trying to get you in to trade your car and buy a new Mustang.
Exchange huh? If I got that letter, I'd get with a lawyer and head down to the dealer to trade my II for a new Ford .
