My trip to the track

    Yesterday I was going to the 1/4 track with two of my friends. Neil ran in his 5.0 and Clayton in his Olds LSS. On the way my tranny crapped out on me. She dumped out tranny fluid every where, it was coming from the torque converter. I had to have her towed home which is 130 miles away. That POS A4LD makes me wish every day that I had bought a 5 speed. This is the second time the tranny has crapped out on me. I think is about time for a swap. We still made it to the track I just ran in my friends LSS. I think the last pick shows my feelings every well.
    Oh yeah I was able to get a .194 RT in Claytons LSS and ran a 16.5. Not bad for my first time to the track, and in a different car.

    i can help you get started with the swap i got a 4 cyl 5 speed and a driveshaft and this is behind a 5.0 so i know it is all good and if you want to do a v8 swap down the road i will sell all the under car stuff pm me if interested

    Sorry to hear, but if you want to keep the A4LD setup i have a Rebuilt one for sale that came out of an '87 TurboCoupe, its got about 25K on the rebuild and also has a shift-kit.

    Dan P. if you decide to contact Jayber...i suggest you pick up the parts in person (and any money exchanging in person aswell) ...I'd be a little supsicious of someone offering me parts on their 1rst post! :rolleyes:

    Inside of car is next to perfect and the 5-spd is very good no noise or grinding. Some small rust on the car nothing massive. Under side of car is in good shape.

    Yes my first couple posts here but Im over 8000 on another forum. And we were gonna meet in person. Hince the reason for stating I was in NC also. I have done over 200 transactions on Ebay and 300 or so on other Mustangs boards.

    WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME Not to be rude but you should have expected that fromus if that is your true track record. You should be happy to see people trying to warn others of those who post as a newbie selling parts. Dan P may not be on other sites as some of us are so he may not see the things we do in other peoples transactions. We are not disputing your claim here but on this forum you ARE a newbie, so understand where we are comming from.
