Mystery switch

Just got a 97 mustang gt with supposed motor work done on it. Crank rods pistons cams etc. there’s a switch by the shifter with three modes. Bottom no light middle green up red. Need help identifying function of it. Wire runs straight to ecm.

I'm going to guess that it is the switch for a 3-Bank chip that is plugged into the back of the ECU.


Should be easy enough to check for one.

Yeah I did some research and I guess it’s a tune selector for the chip
