does anyone know the stock 0-60 times and the quartermile times/speeds of a 91 or newer mustang 5 speed? any info would help, thanks
the answer is slow, slow, and slow um the n/a's are not quick at all but i do know that the 91 and up ( i think thats the years) whatever the dual plug heads came stock with i think 105 hp where the non dual plug heads only had 88 mine was slow as hell till i did the turbo swap
88hp@4000rpm, 132 ft-lb@2600 up to 89 105hp@4000rpm, 135 ft-lb@(I THINK 2600)rpm 91-93 They had emissions heads on the newer ones, the roller cam was added to recover the horsepower loss and then some.
Don't forget that the dual plug engines also had a half-point higher compressor (9.5:1). The extra 17 hp came from a couple different things.
