anyone know of a good, Mustang savvy machine shop in the Nashville area to handle my rebuild / Tuning needs?? The local TFS distributor is Delk Performance in Lebanon... Only one I've found so far.... Just looking an option. Here's the Delk quote... sounds fair to me. AJ... The rebuild on a .030" over short block is about 1800.00 with a TRW forged piston,file fit plasma*moly* ring,good bearing,machine work,balancing,*stock crank and rods (Complete assembled short block on stand with out cam and lifters). You can go to a cast steel crank,forged*rod,2618 piston,*stroker 331 for about 2500.00. Basic in and out engine labor money is 1000.00. Short block to complete on stand - 450.00ish. Tear down (stock engine for reuse parts)and clean up 200.00*Going to a TFS top end kit will add some labor (300-400)*, but doing it during a engine swap/rebuild helps. Should be about 2 week job. Figure on some gaskets,fluid,ECU chip,tune,oil pan,fasteners,*etc . money
