I ordered some wheels from them last Friday....credit card billed...last Friday. I have called for 4 days to see if my order has been shipped and have gotten nothing but a busy signal...even during non-office hours. No voice mail, no please hold....just a busy signal. THey havent returned my email I sent Monday. I emailed whom I thought was the owner, only to be told that he sold the entire shop last year and has nothing to do with it anymore. I just want to see if my items have been shipped.
Im going to give them some more time to respond to email, but I find it awfully fishy that a company has no voice mail, no answering machine, and a line that is busy ALLLLLLLL the time, even during non business hours, for 5 days straight.
6 days calling...even at 1am (to see if I would get a busy signal)......line is busy no matter what. Says on the site that it might take 7-14 business days to receive an item. at 14 days, if I dont have my wheels and still cant get in touch with them....im doing a chargeback. Fortunately, I found a wheel distributor that is local. Since I own a corporation, I might be able to set up an account with them (schweet)
ok...this is some bull spit.... I checked my credit card this morning. The charge for my wheels....totally gone...non existant. What the hell kind of business is that?
There had been problems with Crossroadz in the past. He was a member over at TMS. He sold the business to someone else because he couldn't keep up the demand, and actually finally fixed everyones' orders and such. Nice guy, got overwhelmed. The new owner??????? Obviously, customer service ranks somewhere between beer and toilet paper- not necessarily in that order.
I reordered through mustangtuning.com. Kind of strange though...the checkout process was the exact same as crossroadzdirect...i mean...same shopping basket. Probably because they used the same template as a yahoo store. What was more strange..the city which mustangtuning.com is listed in...is the same billing city for crossroadz. Fortunately, I got an order confirmation from mustang tuning already and they are suppose to be shipped tomorrow. joy
Thats what I am thinking. I got an email from XXXX@mustangtuning.com that said: We at crossroadzdirect have cancelled your order because the wheels were out of stock. So...I got an email from mustangtuning...regarding my order with crossroadzdirect. What sucks is....crossroadz direct was $100 cheaper.
Hey allcarfan - Check your email! I took care of you. As for CrossRoadz, I went to management to find out whats going on with the messed up / non answered phone line, and email is not being received either.
MtFrancy... I REALLY appreciate that. I wasnt holding mustangtuning responsible for anything. I just got a little worried when I ordered from crossroadz and couldnt get ANYONE on the phone for days on end....and my card was charged...then 'uncharged'. Thats when I ordered from mustang tuning.
