What do you mean pressure? WHen you turn the key to the on position you should hear the pump priming.

Have someone stand behind the bumper near the gas tanks and you will hear it.

If it cranks but not fire I would hightly doubt it is the fuel pump.

i think hes talking about the pressure relief valve on the fuel rail. what i meant was to take the fuel -pressure- line off the rail and test it. do you have a CEL?

That is the FORD test port for FP. You can push it and see if you are getting gas up there. But if it starts then dies at idle i am assuming you are getting gas enough to start it.

yeah it will start but it takes forever to catch and everyone tells me that pressing the gas wont let it start but i have to press the gas for it to even sound like it is trying to start and when it fires up i have to pump the gas untill it starts reving up

have you changed your fuel filter? Sounds like it could be clogged.

i havnt replaced it but i took it off and i could blow through it and also i just had a guy tell me that it could be a head gasket problem because the 94-96's had a head gasket default

if it was your headgasket you would probably have some coolant mixed in your oil, and it would be smoking white and have a sweet coolant smell to it. believe me i know what a headgasket problem is and you would be able to tell right off the bat. post a vid up or something. did you try what i said?
