I was wondering if someone could chop off the lip from the 94-98 Cobra R front bumper. I dont like the snow plow look but I love the look of the bumper. I was thinking about buying one and maybe cutting off the plow look and blending in the sides. Any suggestions? Help me out!
I was kinda going for that actually. They dont make that bumper for our cars though. I just hate the snow plow look. I live in PA and they pay the state to clear the roads! I dont wanna help!
the 2000 cobra r bumper is the same as the 99-01 cobra bumper...the lip actually shipped with the car and the customer had the option of attaching it themselves. i dont remember where i read that, but it was in several mustang and motor trend / road & track style magazines.
You're right, but that's only true when you buy the original Ford piece. All of the other aftermarket bumpers have the lip molded on. If I were to remove the lip from that 94-98 bumper, I would also take off those side pieces and smooth them down. I do think it looks badass on there, though.
