well guys, some things are going on for me right now and i may be parting with my car fairly soon. seeing as though it's a Saleen we all know that when it's time to sell it's a pain in the butt to figure out how much the car is worth. NADA, Kelley Blue Book, etc. never seem to help...so i'm looking for you guys who know what they're talking about to help me out here.

first off, here's link to everything about my car -
    http://www.modularpowerhouse.com/forums/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=1063

    the car is a 2001 S281SC #502
has about 22K miles on it...no problems and i've maintained her very well. never abused, or thrashed, minus the burnout from MPH dyno day that made the video. (and that's the only one ever) all of the work to the car has been professionally done with only the best parts, etc. there are some typical Saleen spider cracks in the front fascia and some chips here and there in the paint. nothing to say other than that - i have everything stock that came with the car, except for the blower. just looking for a starting point... thanks

Saleen is listed in the NADA.

You could call Mark at Performance Autosport, as he deals in this market every day.

The mods are going to hurt the value IMHO.

I was thinking take the KB off and sell seperately along with putting the stock hood back on. Along with other stock parts you have.

Probably get more for the car and get a few bucks back out of the mods.

well the blower story is a long one, nothing i could do about it. not like the KB is a POS either though. i have the stock stuff with me here, it's not modded that much believe it or not.

I'll be honest, i'd run from any stock block 4.6 with a KB on it.
Good blower on a less than par block.

If it was an 03 or 04 cobra i would make an exception.

Whether you beat the crap out of the car or not, a buyer has to assume you did with a KB.

Sorry to hear you have to part with your car. If you are looking to part with some parts, I'll take that hood. Just let me know what you're looking to get for it.

Nice looking car, but I agree with what was said...the mods are going to hurt you on resale.
