ok i have a 17x9 rim in the front and i'm looking at some 255/40/17s which are 94v rated...i'm lowered...will these fit my rim or should i get 255/45s??? is 5-6/32nds good for 75 bucks plus 35 shipping????
They will both fit. The 255/40 will be 1/2" shorter than the 255/45. And no 5/32 is not a good deal for$110 shipped. I just got a pair of Nitto 555 285/40 17 with 9/32 on them for $78 mounted and balenced.
If you have a a 40 or lower sidewall on the back tires, dont get the 45 up front. I'd stick with a 40...
