i want to make my door panels look better but i need to know before i screw something up how do you pull the carpet pice by the door handle and the carpet on the bottem off will that mess up the whole door. also ive seen on here were someone made something out of what i guess was plastic for were the carpet on the bottom of the door goes anyone know what it was and how it was made? here is what i want to do. before after
If you take the door panel off you will see at the bottom of the door how to remove the carpet. The panels on my 92 are different but I sure there held on the same way, with metal hooks that are bent into place. I made my panel by just using the hard card board that held the map pocket. I bought some vinyl from a fabric shop and just glued and stapled it to the board.
