Well it's been a long time since I've tried posting stangnet but after moving to my new house and getting settled in my brother and I have tried to resurrect the beast after about a 2 year down time.

Prior to moving I had the car in the tuning stages, to the point where the engine sounded really rough but was able to start and maintain idle on it's own, after moving we were unable to get her to fire up until recently, after priming the oil pump and playing with the plugs and distributor. It starts but won't idle on it's own (need to pump the throttle to get it to start and hold throttle down to maintain an idle), the exhaust really stinks of gas (chokes you out if your near it for more than a few seconds).

Now I'm assuming I have a really rich condition, but before I can work with tuning and such I need to get the car to somewhat idle to set the base timing. I'm pretty much looking for some advice or guidance from anyone with experience with the tweecer and tuning. Below is some things I'm going to try when I have a chance sometime this week.

    CID changed to 347
Neutral and Drive Idle changed to 800rpm
High and Low Injector Slopes changed to 42.5/50.5
MAF Transfer Loaded 42lb pro-m table
Crankfuel PW vs time changed to .432 from 1
    Injector Breakpoint set to 1.9
Injector offset vs battery voltage changed
Fuel Table Startup: leaned out by 10% (multiplied by 1.1)
Checksum Base Address: set to 0 (disables error code 15 in eec)

    To start, any codes?
Also, try setting injector breakpoint to 2.500 for all values, and try this injector offset table.

Those are the settings provided with the newest version of binaryeditor for 42 lb injectors.

thanks for the reply, im going to try it this weekend and see how it goes. going to try doing the basics injector slopes, maf transfer, injector breakpoint, and battery offset voltages.

If you can get it running ok and datalog it, you could also feed the logs through EECAnalyzer if you have it and try the cam timing it recommends.

Just an update, got the battery in the trunk mount now and hooked all the wiring to the engine back up. Changed the plugs out again as the car was running really rich and finally got it to idle (after adjusting the throttle body and messing with the tps voltages in BE). Doing some data logging and downloading my brothers tune we saw my AFR was in the 6:1 ratio. We played with the maf values that you guys gave and recalculated them using the analyzer, and brought the AFR into a respectable range 12-13:1 which is still a little rich but ten times better than it was. Next I plan on installing my lm-2 wide band o2 and reading the real AFR's. Thanks for all the help guys.
