WHats up guys, Ive been frequently vivsting this forum for a while now so i decided to register. My name is Aaron and I have a 2001 black GT vert. Got it back in FEb. Only mods are weld in flows and a k&n. Anyways i got the EL glow white face gauges and i got them installed fine, but the directions say to conect the power to the headlight switch, how do i do this , and which one is the 12v power line.
Also i got a steeda tri ax and a cdc lightbar awaiting install after I get these gauges in. Anyways its good to be a part of this forum, you guys always have good advice. See you around.

    Aaron

First of all WELCOME. I purchased the REVERSE el-glo gauges right here on PartShopper. I havn't installed them yet.

#1 I havn't had time and #2 They come with a seperate ON/OFFswitch which looks a little cheesy. Anyone know how to or if it's possible to HARD wire them right into the factory wiring?

P.S. You'll love your CDC light bar. Did you get a switch for it yet? I ordered one from Saleen, but I never got it in over 2 weeks so I canceled my order and got one from these guyswww.webelectricmagazine.com/products.htm. If you decide to buy from them, get the pre-wired harness. All you have to do is splice the 2 lightbar wires in and it plugs right into the factory harness. When the tops up the trunk light works. When the top is down, the trunk light is off and the lightbar works. $49 for 2-3 day delivery. :nice:

The infamous brown wire. Remove the headlight switch (two screws) to get good access to it.
