Looks like esqeddy broke the Class C Production Supercharged record! He took his KB 2.6 powered '03 Cobra to Bonneville and ran an average speed of 206.055 MPH! That's flyin'!

Any idea what, if any, aero mods were on the car to keep it from actually taking flight? Curious to see if the stock spoilers and airdam are up to the task at 200+...

Not sure... I know the car was lowered for sure. The previous record holder was an '03 Whippled Cobra owned by John Maffucci who ran an average speed of 203.231 with no other aero mods besides being lowerd and what appears to be some roof rails of some sort... Here's a pic of his car on the salt flats.

That's booking. It looks like it has a full cage...probably a good idea.

I'm pretty sure the rules mandate a cage at those speeds!

Keep in mind that the picture above is the OLD RECORD HOLDER, not the new one!
