i like the yokanas better. the vipers look cheap with that exposed bracket and plastic looking back.

Yeah, the more I look at the Yokanas, the more I like them.

Yeah the Yokanas are much better. Look a lot cleaner than the vipers.

I have made up my mind, the Ronins it is. Hopefully this thread helps others find a seat they liked, I searched for a while before I found some I liked.

They've been ordered, I'll post a review when I get them installed.

Not light at all, it says they're 36lbs. with sliders each. Not a big deal to me though, not gonna be a race car since it's convertible. In this instance, form and comfort over weight reduction.

The vipers look to have a better fit at the bottom were the legs go. The Yokanas seats look dead flat and kinda stiff. I like the bracket...think it would fit well with a cage/roll bar.

Vipers look a little more no nonsense and raw. The Yokanas look a little cleaner and refined. Depends on what look your going for. Price...well that is a nice price on a pair of seats. Keep us informed on how you like them.

GS-1 has gotten good reviews, looks similar to this one minus the cheap (imo) looking different colored stitching.

Plus the GS-1 looks to have a better seat bottom and is only $189 each.

I'm not too crazy about the G1 design. And that stitching is really what made it for me, I've seen it in other cars, and it adds a nice subtle accent.

I'll let you guys know how they feel/fit when I install them.

The stupid bastards sent me the cloth ones instead of the leather, so I got a good discount there. I didn't want to have to deal with the whole mess of shipping them back. They are really nice and comfortable. I used the sliders/brackets, just made holes to fit the new seats. It was no big deal at all. They fit great in the car and look awesome! After I installed them, I spaced and didn't take any pictures, but they're nice.

Just to add to this, I have a driver's seat similar to the Ronins style, and its held up nice. It should for $250 (I thought I was buying a pair off Ebay, turns out it was one). Not all Ebay seats are crap, just the ones that seem too good of a deal to be true.
