I currently have a Alpine iDA-X305S stereo installed, if I were to upgrade to a double din stereo would all I need to do is remove the current, put the new one in and connect the wires? or would I have to rewire everything?

If they did it right you shouldn't have to rewire everything. Right is using the stereo wire adapter from the electronics store and it is plugged into the harness. For the double din stereo you would only need an adapter bracket to hold it in place. I ditched my alpine for a JVC head unit so I can stream from my phone through BT and it only was around 100 buts and replaced everything with Kicker Comps. The JVC sounds fantastic and I saved 300 by not going double Din thou I was tempted.
