Hey Everyone, Thank you all for putting up such a great forum, its been my source of info for 05 stang from the past few months. Now here are a few of my newbie questions, 1) Is the GT going to have the side stripes like the V6? 2) I am planning to attend the Ford innovation drive in LA (Thanks to Amy), i plan to place the order on my GT after that, any idea when will I get mine if I place the order on Sep 5th? 3) What happens if I decide to cancel my order? (probably wait for the cars to come to dealer lots) Any help on these questions would be appreciated. Meanwhile Enjoy the wait!!!! like I am
The GT will not have the side stripe option. That is only available on the V-6. Not sure when you'd get the car if you wait until 9/5. I ordered mine on the 2nd day possible and I'm not sure of my build date yet since I've been on vacation for nearly 2 weeks. The cancellation policy is probably up to your dealer. I guess you could lose your deposit, however, given the demand for early cars, you can probably negotiate something. Order now, don't wait to drive it - it gunna be awesome!
