Are the NGK Iridium IX spark plugs any good? They are expensive and they should last a long time I guess. What do you guys think?

I've had mine (NGK TR-55 IX) for over a year now. Love 'em.

Installed mine about 3 weeks ago with MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor wires. They're the (TR-55 IX) Iridium ones. Love them, smooth idle and acceleration. No complaints except that they are a little bit on the expensive side.

I can get a set of 8 along with msd coil packs and 8.5mm plug wires for 275.00. I think I am going to get them. Seems like a good deal.

Unless you are running forced induction, iridium plugs are overkill on a basic car. Stick with the Autolites
