I am/was poised to buy my GT bumpers and install dual exhaust. I have/had the cash saved, and was just waiting to get back from my NOLA trip, get the lawn mowed and other domestic chores done so I can stay out of trouble with the boss. We went out for breakfast this morning in the bosses Taurus, and somehow after eggs, pancakes, sausage, tatars, gravy, and coffee, we arrived home in a 04 F150 XLT. Its a great truck, new body style, 4.6, AT, loaded except for leather, 7300 miles. I paid 15,500 + 1,500 upside down on the Taurus for a total of 17,000. I dont know if I paid to much or not, seems like a new 05 similar to this one was running about 21,000. The new pricing slays the value of used trucks, anyway we like it and I can get rid of the 88 GMC that is slowly dying in my side yard. After I see what the insurance man and tax man take for thier share I will buy the bumpers and exhaust unless I need the money for other stuff like food. Its seems like its always "The Man" keeping me down. I think the boss pulled a fast one on me. She drove the Taurus, I drove the GMC, the Stang chilled in the garage most of the time. Now somehow she is driving the Stang, Im driving the F150, the GMC is being sold. I think emminate domain stole my Mustang.
sounds like you got the short end of the stick!! she drives the stang? f150 is a great truck though, but not as good as the stang. better trade her back!! ( to the wife that is )
