Did you forget its an auto, Killy? What good is a shifter or quad/fw adjuster.

Stock 3.27s with the 4 speed auto really dog the car down. Youve gotta do the gears first and the chip fixes your speedo gives you ~10hp and much better shifts. No brainer.

Nuttin wrong with shifting an auto. ;) /jk

So at what point do you want to build up the auto tranny to avoid disaster? I'm assuming you can do all the basic bolt-ons w/converter and be safe but I guess I want to hear it from someone else first.

Holy hell, dude. You have to do something about that now. Going with 4.10s will feel like you added 80hp!

Hey 007. Are you happy with the performance of the shift kit? What washer setting did you go with?

Shift kit is fine and it was cheap. The chip had already improved shifts a lot tho. I cant remember exactly which setting. It was somewhere in the middle. My car shifts very hard at WOT - chirps the 2-3 shift at 60mph and i'm not really making that much power.

Yeah--3.08s are killing me and I imagine I can pick up .3s with a gear change. I have a hookup on the install, just gotta find me some cheap gears now. I'll be going with 3.73s (would like 3.90s also) since I do drive 40 miles one way to attend school a few days a week. Texas heat + high rpms for long periods of time (drive 75-80 the entire way) = disaster ;)

Me thinks that the 3.27 would be alright with a 3200 stall converter. Hopefully I updated my sig.

Edit. Yes. Sig was a success. Now what shall I play with next?
