I have a 2000 sc saleen and today I see oil on the ground so I open the engine and my bbk intake and filter are soaked. So I look in the tube all the way up to the throttle body there is oil. There is a bit in the Saleen blower where it connects to throttle body. I cleaned most of it out and I am going to try to take the piece of the blower off to see if it is not wet. What could it be. The tube from the valve cover to the air intake pipe was soaked in oil. Could that of been where the oil came from. And is that a big problem? Any info appreciated.

I did he said most likely a pcv valve which he is sending me. He said it is most likely from blow by. I hope it is not a bad piston.

I had something similar happen to my '96 Saleen recently.....I kept getting oil in the intake before the supercharger and finally found that the hose from the drivers side valve cover connecting to the intake was blowing so much oil it was collecting in the intake and running down into the air filter.......Needless to say i had to rebuild the motor cuz I had blown pieces out of the sides of 2 of the pistons. This was caused by running too much boost and not enought fuel.....detonation........ Hope this isn't your problem too.

Well its a stock blower with a chicane pulley. It only runs boost to about 7-8 psi. The car felt fine but there was a suddden rush of oil. I hope it is not my engine.
