Guy in the ss beat me by a fender. Think he's gonna beat me now on a 100 shot? Not to mention he did 314 rwhp, to my 275. If i had 314 and he had 275, i would wax his a**. Brian u want to compare your car to mine all the time, so lets do that. Paid what about 20K for it, and have about 5 or 6K in mods. So say 25k in the hole. I paid 11k for my car, and about 1500 in mods. Give me the difference in the prices, and who's do you think would be faster? Think i do pretty good with what i have. Like these guys said, all depends on what you want to spend.
That's the dumbest thing I have heard from you yet man. So what about Anthony and his car? Worth maybe 1500-2k? And he's ALOT closer to you performance wise than you are to me and yalls price difference is huge as well. Give HIM the extra money that you have in your car and he'd be spanking YOUR ass! Or go out and buy an old car for $500 and spend 20k on it and beat all of us? Make sense now? If I got beat by a new GT500 or ZO6 I wouldn't go off saying "give me the difference in price and see what happens How pathetic I have a car that cost MORE from day one off the lot. A fully optioned WS6 like mine cost over 30 grand. What did a GT cost? Exactly, alot less. It's pretty much pointless to argue that point like your tryn to. I have a newer, higher end car, it's gonna be a higher inital investment unless I bought an older higher mileage one. This isn't about how much money someone has in their car, WTF cares? Some cost more to begin with. I could have an older LS1 car for LESS than you paid for yours and done the same, but that's not what I wanted, and not what I did.
^Your car is no better than anyone elses on this board..its all about what you want, and if you like it thats all that matters. Dont make me remind you that F bodys are very cheaply made cars with an awsome motor. There is a reason they had to pull the plug on them. But I DO agree, that they do look great...just "higher end", they are not. Dont get all high and mighty on us I really dont like your attitude, and its really uncalled for. Try to keep your ego in check, or you wont have a friend at work anymore....noone likes people who are stuck up and full of themselves. And this isnt the place for pointless arguing between you two either...take it to PMs if your going to insult each other.
I think its a valid point but im not arguing anymore. Its aight hot mustang we're still gonna be friends. Im either gonna get 8urls1 or lswhat cause the avg f body around here wont beat me. If they do oh well.
You try to take everything I say and twist it around. I think your the one with the problem and bad attitude. If you really knew me you would see I'm far from stuck up. I'm friends with people far less fortunate in life than myself and enjoy the time spent and friendships we have. Your aSSuming things and you know what the does Noone else has had a complaint with me and some have actually said I was not cocky at all, which I am not being. I was arguing about him having a double standard about the total cost of a car and it's mods, which I proved irrelavant considering the comparisons and examples I gave in my last post. Yeah they did pull the plug on them, Mustangs did outsell them, they were a cheaper car to buy, and people do like them. They also were going to have to change some things to meet the new crash standards for the new year (03) so that helped with any other reasons behind it. I'm also done with this thread, like Corey said, we'll still be friends just the same, REAL friends don't let BS get between them, we've always gave eachother crap and never let it bother us. I'm glad everyone on this forum isn't like you Briancws6 exits stangnet...............
Actually im a real nice guy, and everyone on here can attest that im usually one of the nicest persons responding to threads. You would hate to see what some of these guys would say to you if they seen this thread. But your attitude just rubs me the wrong way...and I for one can say that I wouldnt be hanging with what your saying, were I maveric. I REALLY hate when one person thinks their better than someone else, or comes acorss that way. Call it my hangup. Ill say the same thing to mustang guys, and honestly I dont like 90% of mustang owners that I meet, so its NOT just because your an F body guy. My problem is that you have 2 posts and are coming down on mustangs, and how much better and higherend certain F bodys are. I hate to come off rude, but if your going to down mustangs...I can get a bit testy Bye *wave*
