Just wondering i seen a 2005 stage 1 roush yesterday and man did it look sweet. so the question is would you guys rather have a 2005 Saleen Extreem at 500hp or the Stage Three Roush at 510hp or any combination of the 2005 Saleen and Roush.
Perhapse you forgot what forum you're in?? The answer should unanimously be the S281E from people here. Although, I'll have to admit, I'm still not gaga over the 2005 Saleen's. They are much more "plane jane" then their predecessors. I'd rather have the New Edge Extreme then either of them to be honest. OK, flame on...
I did not forget i just know how must of you guys in here are not fans of the 05 Saleens and i am not either i much rather have a 04 and under but you have to admit that the 05 roush looks pretty bad.
I cannot show respect for someone building performance cars who has never stepped behind the wheel of a race car. I think you all can figure this one out.
I'd actually take the 2006 S281E convertible in Tungsten Grey. At 550hp, its a monster. But that emergency brake is going to get ripped the ***** out. :Word:
Post pictures of the roush, the ones i seen at the local dealer (next to 05 saleens) look incredibly underwhelming.
Personally I love the new Saleens. As I posted on another forum earlier this year when I first saw them in person @ the local dealer (Mossy Ford), Saleen once again displayed their continuing knack for correcting some of the inherent design flaws of the new Mustang & improving upon the overall design. Unlike any of the Roush Mustangs, including the '05/'06, the Saleen gives the appearance of being a totally integrated package, not a bunch of tacked on individual pieces. IMHO of course.
you know at first when i seen the 05 saleen i did not like it but the more i look at it the more i find things about it that i do like. the only reason i can think of that i may have liked the roush better is that i have seen the 05 roush in person and i have not seen the 05 saleen yet in person just pictures. but i am a Saleen guy all the way threw. I am military and on base when people see my Speedster they tell how nice it is and then they start talking about how i should have bought a roush and how it is the best mustang you can get, and i have to educate them on mustangs and let them know that Saleens are infact top of the line mustangs well in my opinion any way.
