I ordered a new catback today. I went w/ the regular magnaflow catback. Got a great price from planetmagnaflow.com $376 shipped. I had to get a new system since when I bought the car the stock mufflers were removed and replaced with a piece of tubing. Someone went the cheap route, I'm glad it broke and had to replace it.

When I was searching on here to figure which cat back to go with I read someone here offered them 350 for the cat back and got it for 375. I decided to try the same thing and got it for 376. I'll def. get my catted x through them based on this experience. Sound clips to come

i'm about to swap my SLP catback for a magnaflow one. i guess i'm getting old and loud just isnt as good as it was when i was 21
I ditched the stingers that were on my Mach1 when I bought it for the regular magnaflows, so much nicer. Old guys are smart guys!
I started the install of my magnaflow catback from planetmagnaflow today. I am about 3/4's of the way done. Got the left side all put on and was working the right, connecting the muffler to the tailpipe. Guess that tailpipe wasn't fully seated, and I cranked a little to hard on the nut on the U Bolt and sheared it off. SO I need to get another U Bolt and we'll be good to go. Catbacks are pretty easy to put on just takes a lot of tweaking to get the alignment right.
I did cat back and x pipe on my 96gt and thought it was pretty simple. Can't wait to get it so I can install it. Shipping to arrive Friday.
can i convince you otherwise? slp is a great, quality system. just change out the resonators for LMII/powerflow mufflers excellent grab on the magnaflow exhaust
Parts came today. Looks great just wish I had the time to do the install this weekend. Maybe one day after work/
