Ordering Question

Hey all, just wondering if any of you can give me an idea of how much money I will have to put down when I order my car. Just a ballpark is fine, I'm looking at the price of the car to be right around $20k.

It will depend on the dealer. At most, I could see them wanting $1K, but I've seen situations where the dealer ordered the car in the delaer's name w/o money down, so the customer could then qualify for any specials when it comes in because the customer is "buying it off the lot".

I had a $200 deposit on mine, then when it was delivered they gave me the $200 back and I drove off the lot Zero Down.

My dealer wanted $1,500 down, but my dealer sucks.

I just called the dealer and they said they would want no more than $500 down, which I thought was pretty damn good.

Also, they said it would take 8-12 weeks to get it built, but I've had other dealers say 3-5 weeks. Whats the truth?

If you are like me the line: "if you want to sell me the car, you won't ask for a deposit" works well in most cases....

But the most I would put down would be $500.00

For 20k your car will not have ABS brakes nor the IUP. You will be happier spending 1500 more and safer. Trust me!

Mine was ordered in mid-July arrived in late August, took exactly six weeks to the day to arrive
