Out of Round Spec needed

I'm asking this question for my buddy. He has a 1998 cobra with stock bottom end. Long story short he threw a bearing in it. It started knocking so he had to rebuild it. He fixed the problem and put it back together. when he put it back together he measured 0.002" on the out-of-round spec on one of the rods. all the other ones were either 0.000" or 0.001". He hasn't taken past 6,000 rpm's. He's afraid to redline it, but i personally sat in it while he's cruisin and getting on it till 5,500-6,000 rpms and there's no knock and it drives strong for having 97,xxx miles on it. Thanks for reading and any help.
