So I've been spending the last hour sanding my valve covers like a madman so I can repaint them. I'm finished with the drivers side valve cover for the most part, but now I can see my hand prints all over the damn thing. :bang: I heard that there is a chemical that you can use to remove body oils and other impurities before priming but I have no clue what it's called. Can I use rubbing alchohol?

    Thanks for the tip.

The Stang is black so I want to compliment it with black goodies in the engine bay. If I decide not to go with a TrickFlow intake, then I'll paint whatever I go with black as well. I did some research here on paint. The primer I have now is not going to work with the enigine temp. What brand do you suggest?

Edit: The car to the left is not my car...lol. I saw it on my way to Virgina to pick up a stang I won on ebay. It's more like a reminder to why I do what I do. To put the owner of that to shame.
