What is the best type of paint thinner to use on touch up paint. When I had the car painted, the shop gave me a small bottle with the brush for touch up. I wanted to thin it down to use in my airbrush for painting some engine parts, but Im not sure what would be the best...Mineral spirits, Xylene, denatured alcohol???

    Thanks

Subscribing---I went to use the Ford touch-up paint & found it all gooey inside---so can I drop a few drops of lacquer thinner in it?

WE're Having no luck here AJ:(

I had some paint thinner by that company that makes the little jars in the hobby section...I added some of that to the jar. It worked, but I dont know how it will affect the paint being stored.
