Well I decided to painted my calipers today, look like it was going to rain but I made it thru the fronts, back brake calipers will have to wait another day... MATERIALS USED: 1- Airbrush 2 - RIO RED AUTO AC. Laquer PAINT ( SUBARU ) LOL Close match to the ford, I got the paint cheap). 3- Dupli color Spray can High Temp Engine "CLEAR" 4 - home made Stencil of a running horse. 5- Dremel Process : 1- Dremel tool with wire brush attachment clean rust, etc... 2- shoot 2 coats of subaru rio red with airbrush 3- shoot 1 coat of high temp clear in spray can... 4- Apply stencil on caliper and shoot flat black paint with airbrush. 5- apply one last coat of high temp clear... REsults: Very happy now I need to do the rears... (Time to dry between coats suck, especially the clear... Looks like Orange to me. I would have gone with a darker red. I also am going to take my calipers off when i paint them. I am going to paint mine the color of your car.
Now you just need some wheels that will show them off better. I've got a car show tomorrow and I still haven't done my back ones.

look better in person, not red enough from here but it looks ok. Tell you, i didn't figure out it was a pony until Superdust said so
It's NOT Orange, it's my crappy digital camera.... Fender trim looks better in person also... I will try to update the pics at higher resolution and better lighting... I appreciate the good and bad comments.... Not out to please everyone just myslef... lol

just trying to help, but I think it looks much cleaner when you paint the calipers without the pads in them, and then paint the pads another color (black?). I did mine a couple weeks ago, I'm super-happy for the money invested. It's also not hard to bleed the brakes, don't be afraid to disconnect them to make the process easier. I used my sister as the "pedal operator" when I bled the brakes and it usually only took 5-8 pumps.
