what do you guys think about doing this? i just got a TC IC and would like to give it a fresh coat of black. but would it make it not disapate heat as good or anything? (if that matters). and would it matter if I got any on the cooling fins?
You can paint the "body" of the IC all you want so it looks good. Won't hurt a thing. I'd suggest not painting the fins but a real light coat probably wouldn't make a noticeable difference. Stinger
