Hey quick question. Im repainting the front bumper on my car and have noticed in the past while washing the car, in the center hole towards the rear its not painted, more of just overspray. Is this normal for these cars to be painted this way? I did a carfax when I bought it and it had never been in an accident, so as far as i know this is the way it came from saleen. Also, since it is this way, should I just leave it with the overspray or just paint it all? Any help is appreciated.

The painter from Saleen was probably lazy and didn't get the gun back in there at enough angle to get a smooth finish.

I would try and get all the areas as perfect as possible if you are taking the time to do it.

The center opening part on the front Fascia on 99 to 04 Saleen Mustangs does have some flat black on inside of the opening bottom part and on the inside side flaps on the center opening of the Front Fascia! I would post some pictures but I don't know how to do that on here! Hope this helps!

    OK boys,

The red arrow is pointing to the "line" that divides the paint from the flat black paint. If you look at your front bumper the line is there even if it's been painted the body color. Hope that helps.

Thank you very much for your help. I knew the whole bumper wasnt the same color. I even told the place painting it, not to paint that part of the bumper. No big deal though, they said they would spray it flat black. Once again, thanks for all your help.
