My daughter has been asked to drive my 05 stang GT Vert in a parade. I don't want anyone sitting directly on the folded top. Any suggestions on how to set something up to support the riders in the back? Have any of you handled this? Thanks in advance.

Could just have them sit in the back seats?

Or there might be someone might sell hard tonneau covers you could get.

I have a 1966 convertible that has seen its share of parades. (I avoid them if I can.) Most usually sit on the edge of the top of the seat. Watch out for high heels, etc. Also, watch out for people taping signs to your paint or using glitter. I am still trying get glitter out of my carpet from several years ago. Parades are fun for awhile, but they get old quick.

I wouldn't sweat it. Just have them be careful. (Frankly, I'd be more concerned what my daughter and her friends would do to the car AFTER the parade.)
