after taking apart the brakes the other day i realized i'm missing a part. its the piece that c-clips to the shoe and has the hole on the bottom for the parking brake cable to clip into. i've got it on the pass. side but not the drivers. it has "wagner rh-fd-55271" stamped into it. i've looked on every online mustang place i can think of and i can't find this thing anywhere. any clues on where to find this and what it's called?
I don't know what it's actually named, but in the part number, it'll have "LH" in place of the "RH" in the one you have now. You may be able to replace it with one from a later appplication, as long as the brake diameter is the same.
1985-91 LTD crown victoria and grand marquis have 10 inch drum brakes, I hear you can get them out of those. Also CJ pony parts sell the arms you are looking for but they gouge you on the price almost $60 a piece!
No gouge- No aftermarket brake supplier makes these, it's the genuine Ford part, and you'd be surprised how little markup there is on that price. Basically, Ford is really proud of these. Glazier Nolan could provide used originals for a lot less, if you can't find them locally.
