I am going to go collect the parts to build an air fuel meter tomorrow and that will be a big help for tunning my carb if it works. I figure I can put one of those togther for less than 30 bucks. That combined with one of those GTech Pros could tell me alot about what is going on with my stang in real time.

Do you guys think that one of those Performance Timers/Accelerometers like that GTech Pro would be worth having? I think one of those would come in pretty handy for tunning my stang but I'm not sure that they are worth the 140 - 250 dollar price.

You may find the following link useful. He gives how to use an O2 sensor and a voltmeter. Even gives a graph of reading values. There are also tips on road tuning. If you dont want to read the whole link about carbs then scroll about half way down until you see the pics of an O2 sensor install in an exhaust. The tuning part starts just above that.
