    My cousin has a pit. I've been around the dog since she was a puppy. My cousin was really good about sociallizing and training. The dog is ridiculously strong, but would rather lick you to death that bite you... I know this is just one dog, but I believe it has all to do with the trainer/owner and little to do with the dog... Just my $.02
