Windy City Motorsports is at it again: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988...oryZ6236QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Misrepresenting another Saleen Mustang. From the description: An adult owned car, it has never been raced or modified and is 100% stock. Yet, it has an incorrect windshield banner, an aftermarket stereo system, aftermarket chrome exhaust tips & most obvious of all, the front bumper serial number & rear deck lid badging is incorrect indicating that at least the front fascia & rear hatch have been repainted. Not to mention that door jamb sticker appears a bit too worn for such low mileage (my '89 had almost double the mileage yet it's sticker was absolutely pristine). Then there's the issue of referring to it as a "Spyder" when no such model existed in 1988. Perhaps I'm being overly nitpicky, but considering the past history of previous Saleens auctioned by this dealer, I'd be skeptical about the provenance of any of the vehicles they offer including this one.
I saw it too, just didn't seem as bad as the other car he tried to pawn off. The guy who put those exhaust tips on, should be shot, i would truely be ok with that.
