Excuse the bed in the background  Its a 66 200ci, thats almost all original except for the paint and the drivers door that was stolen in the 80's. :nonono: Has 130k miles on it. Thats the original color. It still runs and drives great....even passes emissions (even though it doesnt have to). Ive only driven it a few times :flag:

How does one go about getting their driver's door stolen?

Apparently it was pretty easy, my dad looked out one night and saw his inside light on...went out to investigate and the door was missing. Only took 30 mins because he went outside to take the trash out earlier and it was still there :nonono:
Haha, yeah the mowers get in the way

Im really dont know a whole lot about it. Im going home this weekend, ill pull it out and wash the dust off of it and shoot some pics with my mach 1. :flag: Where is the paint code located at? Is it still on the door? If so it might be wrong since the door is not original

Yeah, unfortunately the paint code is on the tag in the driver's door. Sometimes, if the car has never been touched, you can find the original build sheet under the rear seat, under one of the front seats attached to the bottom of the seat, under the carpet (usually the driver's side floor board, you know, the area that gets wet when the heater core gives up or the cowl leaks into) or up under the dash somewhere taped to some wiring.
