You can't track it so to speak. If you just ordered your car, wait till they process the order which is every thursday I believe. Then you can call your dealer and get a vin# and should take some time to get the sticker available with your expected build date. Look up you Ford VIN Window Sticker
That's not exactly it.What you do is call your dealer---who will have the factory assigned 17-digit VIN on hand. I talked to the salesman who read it to me over the phone. Then call Ford's 800 number. Duck all the recorded messages till you get a live human on the line & read her the VIN number. She will give you the delivery date---mine is 11/12 !!!!!!!!!!!!Yoweeeee!
Your salesman can give the delivery date...and even that date is not necessarily spot on. When I placed my order they said 6-8 weeks for delivery, my salesman would email me every week and attach the print out of the status of my car. The delivery day on the print out was always the 6 week mark....then low and behold on week 5 my salesman called and said the car was in the local railyard!! So 5 weeks total to get mine....very fast if you ask me!
