Has anyone used that product you put on the front end of your car and wheels wells that is like some type of plastic and it keeps the car from getting dirty, chipped, scratched, etc?

I saw this once for vettes I think and was curious how well it works etc.

My dad works for 3M and says that it works very well. You can't even tell that it is on the car. He has talked to the automotive guys for me, and they say that it can be waxed, washed, and treated just like the rest of the car.

My dad's had it on his cobra for almost a year now. I believe it was Ziebart that did it for him too. It came with a lifetime warranty too, if part of it peels or yellows, take it back and they'll replace it for nothing.
