Personally out of those choices (even though I love "Guinness" my 01) I would haveto say the new edge 05+ When I saw them I sooooooo wanted to buy a new one in White with the Red interior, It would be my II's younger sister! Ford Did Retro right with this one, It FINALLY LOOKS like a "Mustang" again. Never yeally liked the 79-93 Boxy look, nothing at all resembling the name, liked the 94 and ups, just not enough for a MUST have. bought my 01 v6 becasue, it was a Mustang Vert in my price range at the time. I still REALLY want an 05+ in white/ Red...

Really like the 98-04 the best, because of its aggressive look. It really looks like a chevy eater.:SNSign:

Even though I love the classic 64-70 mustangs, I really don't like the new 05+ Body. The retro stuff is not really for me and I think Ford might shoot themselves in the foot when the next real body change takes place. What do you do when you have new age designs, then go back in time to an old design? What are we going to see the new Mustang III, with a Focus engine next? The corvette is the only long lived american muscle/sports car that hasn't gone or not reported to come retro and I hope it stays that way.

Personally I think the 94-98's were the best, and recieved quite a few car awards for those years.

To be honest.........the 94 - 98 body style is my preference. He** that's why I bought my ride, I think it's the sexiest body style around.

99-04. That's why I two of them. I do like the 94-98's and 05-08's too though. It also depends how people dress them up. We have all seen our share of not so good looking stangs in all year body styles.

I had a 1990 with the aero front end, LX package so no spoiler or anything just really clean and simple looking and i loved it. I fell in love with the 05+ when i first saw them in the flesh, but now owning a 2002 the 99-04 is really growing on me.

Wow that was a fancy way of saying undecided.

On the other hand the only compliments i ever got on the '90 was some dude walking out of the gym once and some other guy in a wife beater that never saw a gym in his life. The '02 though has gotten alot of compliments from women so i guess it gets the win just from that.

I get asked for more rides in the II than I do in my 01  Then again some of my friends are scraed to death to ride in the 78, guess they are just too scared to get out of a FWD 4 cyl and into a little car with a 331:shrug: Although the top off fun of the 01 makes it a tough choice sometimes on those nice days.

Hands down i would have to say the 1999-2004 models will be something that will be heavily remembered as the years go by.
