On the way to work this morning my 96 V6 cut out 3 times. It was very brief. Eveything in the car went dead for about 1 second including the radio and dash clock. Everything would die for about 1 second max and then turn back on again.
    Any ideas???

    Thanks in advance!

That could be an ignition switch alright. Maybe check the battery connections just to be sure.

+1 to that. But it would only be your battery if your alt. is bad. I would go with ignition switch on this one. Did your CEL come on at all before it happened?

No CEL, the car just went completely dead for a second and popped back on, pretty wierd.

    sounds like a power connection.
check all main grounds-bat to chassis, bat to engine, engine to chassis.
check main hot connections at soleniod and junction box.
