It sounds like I have a massive exhaust leak from my passenger side header (at least I hope to God that's what it is :( ) but I can't tell at all where it is coming from. I think one of the primary tubes might have a crack. The headers on the car are Flowtech shorties, I thought I read that shorties are possible to remove with the motor in-car, whereas full length and longtubes are pretty much impossible. Also, my hands are huge.

How much is this going to suck?

shorty's are very easy to install/remove. I had a set of mac shorty's and you should be able to remove the pass. side in about 30 minutes.

They're really easy to take off. Just unbolt it from the H pipe and then from the cylinder heads and out she comes.

Getting it out wasn't that hard. Just takes some jiggling and some elbow grease...Getting it in is the hard part. Had to loosen the engine mounts and give the engine a little shove towards the passenger side from the plenum of the intake manifold. It only took about an inch of new space to get it in.
