Hey guys, I know this has been posted a bunch of times before but my searches didnt give me what I wanted. I just converted to 5-lug and put on some 03' cobra wheels and now the car looks too high, so next summer I plan to throw in some lowering springs... Id like to see pics of your ride and what spring/strut/shock combo you're using or post links to other threads.
Mac springs...kyb rears and monroe sensor trac up front...may not be a corner cutter but it's firm and plants it's but very well (mac control arms as well.)
My stang got 1.5 BBK springs all round. But in near future I will get new shocks and struts. Here my stang got lowered:
Im running FRPP springs, stock control arms, monroe sensatrac shocks/struts. The monroe actually doesnt handle too bad and the ride stays nice.
Are you guys all running CC plates? And did you go with 4-bolt or 3-bolt designs? Nice to see all these gorgeous Canadian cars too. Ive seen your car at some GTAMC events 87ttop and its gorgeous. Only event my car made it to this summer was the BMC cruise.
intrax lowering springs 2 inches with stock struts, the car now has MMR Coilover kit and steeda cc plates no pics yet though car is also getting 5-lug conversion with choice set of wheels
H&R sport springs, Bilstein Struts and Shocks. Since you asked, Maximum Motorsports C/C 3 bolt design.
BBK Progressive Rate Springs with 3/4 coil cut from rear. Tokico Blues all around with Poly Isolators.

Wow ... there are some VERY nice cars in this thread. I have had the pleasure of seeing 87ttops car in person and it truly is a site that must be seen to be appreciated. It is very very impressive. I can only hope that someday I will be able to also see the work of DMAN, Almoststock, and Stang22 (to name a few) in person too. Keep up the good work
