lol i agree w/ her haha, about how long would that car take to restore if you couldn't do any of the body or paint work and also how much money?
I had $40k in my RX-7 when I was finished. It was in great shape when I started on it too. I swore I wasn't going to keep track of my next project! I am planning on about a 5 year rebuild whenever I find me a 65/66 fastback. 5 years because I've got a lot of other things on my plate. I usually work 600+ overtime hours a year and I'm working on my masters degree in engineering management. I'm still undecided on the body/paint work. I'll do some but probably not all. Hey Enferno, I'm not sure what you normally park there...but it MAY have an oil leak? My garage looked like that until I was told to clean it up! Cool ride!
my pic is actually a photoshop pic, but i do have the wheels and all that you need to make them work are 1" bolt in spacers...they will run you around $120-$150...
Here is mine as of now. It should be done sometime in March. And one day I am going to put air ride suspension and forged wheels on it to make her look like this:
New to the forum.... but here is my car. I Just added Autometer gauge package and JME billet bezel and a shift light. Will take photos soon and post.
